Abstract
Simplify Digital Co. was processing upwards of 4,000 multi-currency, cross-border customs invoices every single week. Their legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform lacked native intelligent automation, requiring five full-time operational data clerks to manually extract lines of nested line-item data, verify raw totals against corresponding digital purchase orders, and flag currency variances. This manual entry bottleneck delayed logistics routing by up to 48 hours per batch. Crucially, human transcription typos frequently triggered compliance discrepancies at customs checkpoints, resulting in steep operational fines and supply-chain logjams that choked their weekly throughput.
